What this actually is

Planned around access, not a list.

Where to
Journey

Mountain travel is where honest planning matters most. We ask about knees and altitude history before we build days, and we route acclimatisation properly rather than optimistically.

Bhutan is our home ground here: monastery walks, valley drives and a country that limits its own visitor numbers.

Signature moments

The three things guests remember.

The climb to Tiger's Nest

Started early with a guide who sets a pace you can hold, and a pot of tea waiting at the halfway teahouse.

A valley with no schedule

One long day of walking between farmhouses, lunch where it happens.

A private blessing

Arranged quietly at a working monastery, without an audience.

Honest notes

Altitude does not care how fit you are. We build in the extra night; please let us.

Weather closes passes and flights in the shoulder months. We plan buffer days into mountain itineraries as standard.

We were slower than we expected and it did not matter once — everything had been built with room in it.

Before you enquire

What guests ask.

Graded to you. Most guests do three to five hours with stops; we can do less without losing the good parts.

No for our standard routes. Boots, layers and a rain shell cover it; we send a proper list.

October for clarity, April for rhododendron. We avoid July and August.
